Resumen.- En el presente artículo se explica el proceso de desarrollo del sistema de pedidos para restaurantes, basado en la metodología XP para su construcción y mediante la utilización de herramientas de libre distribución. El objetivo principal del proyecto es mejorar la gestión de pedidos en los restaurantes gourmet de Quito, con el fin de ofrecer al usuario un mejor servicio, como por ejemplo tenemos: ofrecer platos preparados al instante, mostrar un listado de los pedidos realizados y el costo tot Abstract.- This article explains the process of development of the system of orders for restaurants, based on the XP methodology for its construction and through the use of open source tools. The main objective of the project is to improve the management of orders in the Quito gourmet restaurants, in order to offer the user a better service, for example we have: offer dishes prepared on the spot, show a list of the orders made and the total cost, payment processing faster among others.
