Desarrollo de un modelo de gestión administrativa y financiera para mejorar el Sistema de Riego Ambuqui, Provincia de Imbabura

Abstract

Irrigation System Ambuqui Canal located in the valley of the Chota Province of Imbabura, benefiting 754 users in their agricultural activities. Its catchment area is 2,000 ha, with an average flow of 1.4 m3 This irrigation system was built by the INERHI in 1976 and has been a development not only in the agricultural aspect but in the tourist aspect, because many production units in this area have benefited from the service provided by the channel. Currently the management of the channel is located in Carpuela, its main responsibility the General Meeting of water users composed this channel. It should be emphasized that the investigation raised offers solutions to internal conflicts that have created a hostile climate between the members of the Board of irrigation; usually, in this type of organizations are presented by the absence of an administrative and financial guide Guidelines authority, establish and delimit the functions of each department, aiming to strengthen the organizational climate that undoubtedly achieved a suitable setting for good Administrative and Financial Management.
