Implementación de un prototipo para un sistema integral de administración de los recursos bibliotecarios de la sala de lectura de "ESFOT", basado en tecnología "RFID"

Abstract

This project develops the design and implementation of a library management system that consisting of two blocks: Management block and the RFID block; the proposed system is a solution to the lack of a suitable method of inventorying the books in the Reading Room of the ESFOT. The library management block allows to organize and to provide efficient access to resources of the library, the system is based on a modular scheme that adds a graphical web interface esay to use and is composed by a web server and a database. The programming was doe with the PHP language. The objective of RFID block are: automate the process of borrowing and returning of books and provide a security scheme, to achieve these objectives, the system is designed with a modular shceme, composed of RFID technology based on the standard ISO/IEC 14443A in conjunction with a web server, which facilitates its use by users accessing the system.
