Abstract

The system of video surveillance implemented in the sweet shelter foundation provides security and reliability to goods and persons to the people who are part of this organization through the use of IP cameras. The implementation of the system is summarized in five chapters referred to in the following way. The first chapter describes the details of the details of the theoretical framework corresponding to the concepts of switched networks, its topology, the video surveillance technology advantages and disadvantages, and also contemplating the study of IP cameras, its characteristics and internal components, its mode of operation and quoting rules and wiring standards structured. The chapter 2 describes the analysis of the infrastructure and the current security system in the foundation. The chapter 3, talks about the design of video surveillance system considering the requirements that were specified in chapter 2. The chapter 4 covers completely the implementation of all video surveillance equipment as well as their experimental testing and the installation of each camera. In Chapter 5 includes annexes, conclusions and recommendations to carry out the implementation of video surveillance system
