Resumen: The following research pursues the study of the network marketing as an alternative to face unemployment of female population in Quito. The main reason of this work, relies on statistical data which reflects the high levels of women who are unemployed in Ecuador and the rise in sales of products which use this type of distribution in Latin America; furthermore, the sharp rate of females who work in this kind of business. Network marketing Ecuadorian reality is contrasted with the one found in Latin America, in order to corroborate the efficacy of the system. The result of this work allows to know not only the point of view of women who are part of this model and have succeeded in it, but also the ones who had worked in it but deserted after a while, using statistical analysis which reveals the reality lived in this medium. Experts’ opinions are manifested, focused on critic factors to take into account to have success in network marketing as a new alternative to the female unemployment. According the results discovered in this inquiry, the proper conclusions are made which affirm the veracity of this investigation and the suitable recommendations are presented which will allow, if applied, a solution of the problem established.
Descripción: La presente investigación busca estudiar el sistema del network marketing como una alternativa para afrontar el desempleo de la población femenina en la ciudad de Quito. La razón de ser de este trabajo se basa en datos estadísticos que reflejan el alto nivel de mujeres desempleadas en el Ecuador y el incremento en ventas de productos, bajo el modelo de distribución multinivel en Latinoamérica; junto con el agudo índice de féminas que laboran bajo este tipo de negocio. Se contrasta la realidad ecuatoriana del network marketing con la hallada en América Latina, para corroborar la eficacia del sistema. Este estudio, permite conocer los puntos de vista de mujeres que son parte de este modelo y han alcanzado el éxito, así como también personas que laboraron durante un tiempo y desertaron, junto a análisis estadísticos que revelan la realidad vivida en el medio. Se manifiestan también, opiniones de expertos sobre los factores críticos a tomar en cuenta, para tener éxito en las redes de mercadeo como nueva alternativa al desempleo femenino. Se crea bajo estos resultados las respectivas conclusiones que ratifican la veracidad del estudio presentado y las recomendaciones que permitirán, de ser aplicadas, una mejora futura respecto a la problemática presentada.
