Auditoría eléctrica en el Hospital de Especialidades de las Fuerzas Armadas N.1

Abstract

The present work seeks to identify measures to improve energy efficiency in the electrical system of the “Hospital de Especialidades de las Fuerzas Armadas N.1”, making use of an electrical audit. It presents the development of the audit in three stages: information collection, measurements, and identification of electrical efficiency proposals. The first stage includes the analysis of the hospital's electricity consumption based on the study of its energy billing, in addition to updating the installed load in order to estimate the end uses of electric energy in the hospital. The measurement stage is carried out using energy analyzer equipment to evaluate the quality of the technical product, identificate the demand of each transformer and its characteristics of use. On-site activities will allow the identification of irregular conditions in equipment and services that require immediate or programmed intervention to improve its operation state. Finally, the results of the previous stages are analyzed to identify which services or group of equipment should be intervened with measures of electrical efficiency. In addition, recommendations that help improve the state of the facilities, availability of equipment, safety of its occupants and maintenance in the electrical system are included.
