Estudio y diseño de la red inalámbrica WiMAX de alta disponibilidad de datos que permita proveer internet de banda ancha en la parroquia 10 de Agosto de la provincia de Pastaza

Abstract

This research project was conducted to study and design a Wireless network using the WiMAX standards for the parish 10 de Agosto located in the province of Pastaza. Based on a description of the different WiMAX technology options that exist in the market up to now, the most suitable option for the area was chosen. A survey directed to the population was carry out in the parish so that the needs for the service of internet were identified, besides the description of the current situation of the technology they have. Finally, according to the equipment that might be used in a possible implementation of the project, the referential cost was determined.
