Abstract

The present work presents the development of a computer system through the application of a Process Management Approach through the ISEA methodology that starts with the identification, simulation, improvement and evaluation phases of the process, to generate through this the BPMN design of the organizational process with the aim of obtaining the graphic scheme of the process. This process is automated through the IBM-BPM suite that is composed of tools such as Process Designer that allows the design and implementation of the same, as well as Process Administrator Console for the execution of the process. Subsequently the tests of functionality and usability of the application are carried out, to verify possible execution errors and levels of usability respectively. The automation of this process allows improvements about the activities currently carried out manually, routinely and non-formally in the Systems Engineering Faculty with regard to the Selection of Academic Titular Personnel, Non – Titular Personnel, and Assistants Professors and Research of the FIS.
