Abstract

This project studies and performs a comparative analysis of the Third and Fourth Generation cellular communication systems. When a new technology emerges, such as the LTE network, it is sought not only to give benefits to the user but also to the provider through greater coverage and more fluid traffic due to the growth in the number of users that use cellular systems that has become a tool of daily use both in education, business and entertainment level. Therefore, we must have a cellular system compatible with new cellular technologies. This project allows to compare two networks; the 3G network that is of greater use in the country and a new technology the LTE network, which is expanding in the country, where users know very little or almost nothing about what are the advantages of this new technology. However, the national market sells a series of state-of-the-art cell phones currently, which adapt to state-of-the-art cellular technologies and are used with cellular technologies that do not allow to take full advantage of the speeds and capacities of these cell phones.
