Desarrollo de un sistema de información web para gestión de riesgos basado en el proceso de la norma ISO 31000

Abstract

Recent studies have indicated that SMEs are the companies that invest least in strategies to prevent risks, and therefore, they do not prioritize the management of them. The objective of this project is to develop an information system that serves as a tool to facilitate organizations in their risk management work, regardless of their size or activity. To develop the information system, the SCRUM development methodology was used. In addition, functional tests were performed by applying test cases on each module of the system. Once the development was completed, the case study was applied in the company Eknowing Business Mentor (EBM), and a survey was then carried out to representatives of the company to evaluate 3 quality characteristics of the system (effectiveness, safety and satisfaction). According to the survey applied, the system was rated 77.3% in effectiveness, 76.7% in security and 82.2% in satisfaction. These results indicated that the overall quality of the system is 78.3%. Based on the percentages obtained, it is concluded that the system met the expectations of the EBM Company, and that the use of the system facilitated its risk management work.
