Zusammenfassung: There are different types of microstrip antenna arrays that can be used in different communication systems. This paper presents the design and simulation of two types of microstrip arrays, both with linear polarization. The first alternative will have the patches and the feeding network in separated substrates. At the same time, two types of feeding networks are proposed: one using power dividers and another with a tree structure. From this two suggested networks, the one that provides the best performance to the radar system will be selected. The second array proposed consists of integrating the patches with the feeding network on the same surface. From this proposed arrays, we will choose the one that meets the size and adaptation characteristics required by the radar that will operate at 2.44GHz with a bandwidth of at least 60MHz.
