Resumen: This project proposes the implementation of a prototype of an electronic passive safety system in a light vehicle that allows the driver to be alerted if speed limits are exceeded and the detection of objects in the blind spot. It also describes the electronic sensors currently used in the passive safety of light vehicles, their operation and characteristics. It will also include a description of Android and Arduino technologies, as well as the agile Kanban development methodology, which will allow adopting a gradual and planned process, reducing the time of project development. The prototype consists of two parts: 1. The application for an Android phone which is responsible for displaying in an interface to the user the warning of objects in the blind spot of the vehicle, the speed of movement and alerts of speed limits established (50 km / h in urban area, 90 Km / h on perimeter roads and 100 km / h on highways). In case of detecting any of these values, an acoustic warning will be issued on the telephone showing the limit exceeded in the interface. 2. The Arduino board connected to ultrasonic sensors that measure the distance of the objects in the blind spot and send it via Bluetooth to the phone to show the user through visual alerts if an object is within the detection range.
