Abstract: This thesis aims to determine the advantages and disadvantages of the signing of the SGP Plus Trade Agreement between Ecuador and the European Union, for Ecuadorian exports; as well as perform a comparative analysis between this agreement and Multiparty Commercial Agreement, having as a reference period from 2009 to the I Semester of 2016. Therefore, to meet the objectives set a theoretical framework that served in the definition of the differences between both agreements. Subsequently, a survey was conducted on a sample of ten export companies of the main products marketed with the European Union, and two interviews. Through these instruments, the advantages and disadvantages of the SGP Plus and the Multiparty Commercial Agreement for Ecuadorian exports were evident. Finally, through a multiple regression analysis, the proposed hypothesis was verified, determining that the Multiparty Commercial Agreement will generate greater benefits for Ecuadorian exports than the SGP Plus Trade Agreement. In addition, according to the projections made, positive balances are expected in exports of the main products to the European Union under the signature of Multiparty Commercial Agreement.
