Prototipo de sistema de generación automática de llamadas telefónicas y envío masivo de mensajes de texto

Abstract

The present thesis project is composed of four chapters. In the first chapter there is a description of the basic concepts related to IP Telephony. This description contains the typical components of IP Telephony, services and functionalities that allow to develop and create new tools, using well-known Open Source software for the implementation. It also describes the concepts of automatic calling generation mechanism, text to speech converters and SMS (short text messages). Also it describes some concepts about Software design, detailing concepts about incremental model, the XP development methodology (eXtreme Programming) and the Model, View, Controller (MVC) design patron. All of these elements used as a reference for the development of the web application for the administration of the implemented prototype. The second chapter contains two parts: the first part analyzes the requirements of the services for the implementation of IP telephony, as well as the requirements for the web application needed for the development of the prototype, and finally the second part describes the design of the prototype. The third chapter describes the implementation process of the different components of the prototype, like: the configuration of IP telephone central and telephone devices, the installation of the database and the implementation of the web application. It also present the test carried out on the prototype, like: unit tests, acceptance tests and functionality tests. The fourth chapter belongs to the conclusions and recommendations that have been obtained at the end of the project, based on the knowledge and experiences acquired throughout the design and implementation of the prototype.
