dc.description.abstractEn el presente proyecto se estudia el uso que la empresa operadora del Bloque 18 le da al gas asociado a la producción, el cual posee un alto contenido de CO2 para generación eléctrica y las alternativas para que el suministro de este combustible se mantenga a lo largo del ciclo de vida del campo Palo Azul. En el Capítulo 1 se presentan los antecedentes, el problema, los objetivos y la metodología a seguir. En el Capítulo 2 se presenta una descripción general del Bloque 18. Se presenta la cromatografía del gas asociado para recomendar un combustible con similares características al producido en Palo Azul. En el Capítulo 3 se realiza una breve descripción de las Facilidades de Producción, los equipos y los sistemas que funcionan en el CPF Palo Azul. En el Capítulo 4 se describen los equipos que funcionan en la Planta de Generación Eléctrica (PGE). De acuerdo al pronóstico de producción del Departamento de Reservorios a Nov. 2009, se calcula la demanda energética del Bloque 18 hasta el año 2022. En el Capítulo 5 se desarrolla el estudio técnico del proyecto. Se plantean diferentes propuestas para cubrir la demanda energética tomando como base el uso de dos combustibles: crudo y gas. En el Capítulo 6 se presenta la evaluación económica de las diferentes alternativas. Se escoge la mejor alternativa mediante procesos cuantitativos y cualitativos. Finalmente se realiza un análisis de sensibilidad con tres escenarios de producción diferentes. En el Capítulo 7 conforme el SGPMP se presenta el Plan de Ejecución Preliminar del Proyecto. En el Capítulo 8 se presentan conclusiones y recomendaciones del estudio realizado.es_EC
