Abstract.- This graduation project is oriented towards the elaboration of a migration strategy to move from local services to Cloud Computing at OCP Ecuador S.A. The following chapters were established within that framework and they are: the state of the art of Cloud Computing, the migration proposal to move from local services to Cloud Computing, the feasibility analysis of the established proposal as well as conclusions and recommendations. In the first chapter the main characteristics of Cloud Computing were established, which are: scalability and speed, broad network access, self-handling upon request and resource clustering. The Cloud Computing service models (IaaS, PaaS y SaaS) were described along with the implementation models (Public, Hybrid and Private), main existing cloud challenges were also addressed, such as: service availability, data privacy and security, technological amortization and geographic restrictions. In the second chapter the characterization of the study case Company OCP Ecuador S.A. was carried out. The existing technological services owned by the Company were also described, such as: JD Edwards, Cognos, EAM, Lync and Exchange Server, and based on the criticalness level (low, medium, high) those that would be migrated to the cloud were chosen. The Cloud Computing service model that best meets the requirements of the services to be migrated was defined and based on that premise the migration solution was selected. The third chapter establishes the feasibility of the solution proposal based on technical, social and economic feasibility. Technical feasibility determined the stability level for the services that will be migrated to the cloud. Regarding social feasibility the actors that will be part of the implementation were identified, as well as social requirements and the impact on end users. Economic feasibility was defined through calculations of the expenses OCP Ecuador S.A would keep having if it continues to use its current technological services, compared to the cost of the proposed solution to migrate services to the cloud as well as the cost-benefit ratio between both. Finally, the fourth chapter establishes the conclusions and recommendations obtained throughout the development of this graduation project.
