Balance Social como herramienta de gestión para determinar la Responsabilidad Social Corporativa en las Cooperativas del sector Financiero Popular y Solidario. Caso de estudio: Cooperativa de Ahorro y Crédito 29 de Octubre Ltda., en la ciudad de Quito durante el año 2014

Abstract

The present investigation has as objective to realize the diagnosis of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) of the Cooperative of Saving and Credit October 29 Ltda. with the purpose of evaluating its social acting during the year 2014. Actually, the entity belongs to the Popular and Solidary Financial Sector and it is low the control of the Superintendence of Popular and Solidary Economy (SEPS) and according to current regulations should account for their social management. For the appropriate analysis of the CSR it was used as administration tool the Social Balance, the same one that allows the invigoration of the development of mechanisms of rendition of bills toward their groups of interest or stakeholders, toasting this way transparency in the cooperative chore. In this context, information was collected by means of a survey directed to the external partners of the entity, also consolidated the investigation by means of the comparison of quantitative indicators through the Macrodimensiones and Dimensions, following limits typified in the pattern of Social Balance of the SEPS. The obtained results identified the fulfillment of the CSR of the Cooperative in the following aspects: in the social, economic and environmental environment. Finally, there appear the conclusions and recommendations of the realized investigation.
