Abstract: At the beginning of the project are the description of the research problem, the objectives to the solution, the methods that are used, the FODA analysis and a problems tree. The second chapter describes the basics of an Early Production Facility (EPF), the equipment making up the different lines (gas, oil, and water), the sizes of the different equipment that allow an efficient operation for the facility, the description of the various tools that are commonly used in a facility, and the properties of the production fluids. The descriptions of the different types of flow that are in a horizontal pipeline are also in the research paper. Finally is included a brief description of the programs, Pipesim and Piper, which are used in the simulation. In the third chapter, the current condition of the facility is stated in order to understand the reason for the re-sizing and simulation of the proposed baseline scenario. After the baseline scenario, four explanations about the different problems that are likely to occur in the facility and how to improve the measurement and storage of fluids are presented. In the fourth chapter, the technical analysis of the project is described in addition to the HAZOP analysis of threats or risks that may occur by failing to implement the proposals. In addition an economic analysis of the project is presented. Finally, in the last chapter, the conclusions and recommendations of the project are presented.
