Análisis de las oportunidades de negocio con la introducción de la tecnología 4G LTE (Long Term Evolution) que brindan las operadoras móviles en el Ecuador

Abstract

This Master's thesis intends to identify business opportunities that are expected to generate with the introduction of the LTE (Long Term Evolution) technology offered by mobile operators in Ecuador. The world in which we live, every day is moving towards the development of new, more efficient and more powerful technologies. Technology in Ecuador does not stop, and the trend is to move to the par of the great advances. In this research books, textbooks, journal articles and surveys which helped identify business opportunities that could be offered with the introduction of 4G LTE technology were used. With the information of the LTE applications that have been implemented in other countries surveys they were conducted savvy telecommunications technology to determine which applications are of interest to generate innovative business opportunities using 4G LTE technology; the results of the consultation to tech savvy and three applications that can generate business opportunities are prioritized obtained. For the three applications defined by the tech-savvy LTE implementation it was determined by evaluating surveys in economic sectors that could be used. With the results of the surveys the benefits to be had with the implementation of LTE applications prioritized in this work, the interest of implementing these applications, the segment of population which will be directed determined what types of devices are supported for use these applications with LTE technology and criteria for the development of new projects were defined, thus wider for those interested in developing innovative business opportunities that contribute and promote the use of new technologies vision was obtained.
