Abstract: Many wells in Ecuador´s east region don’t operate with the proper design of artificial lift and many of these are oversized causing a malfunction of pumps and high operating costs. This paper has two optimization alternatives by changing the current artificial lift system to a lifting system jet type in wells with low contribution flow and a proposed redesign of the operating conditions of jet pumps in wells that are already operating under this system uprising, both alternatives will be executed in Ecuador´s amazon region, this will be done by applying algorithms developed by Eddie E. Smart and Hal Petrie respectively and support Well perform software for calculating multiphase flow conditions if warranted so for more accurate values. With the results of the application of these algorithms will proceed to the analysis of how feasible is its technical application in wells that require it and its implementation through economic analysis to determine the feasibility of the implementation of this project.
