Determinación de los tiempos estándar de operación del sistema de fabricación de contenedores de 2 400 L de carga lateral en la empresa Industria Metálica Cotopaxi (IMC), mediante un estudio de tiempos y movimientos

Abstract

This work aimed the raising of the standard times of operations required for the manufacture of the containers of 2 400 L lateral load, in addition to the search for generation of proposals for the improvement approached by the experience of the executor of the study, like the waiting times and the percentage of use of the resources generated by the simulator used. For this, the manufactured parts were identified, an initial survey of the operations and operators involved in the system was carried out, the plans of the Colaisa and Andi Hierro production plants were generated and the plans of the Industria Metálica Cotopaxi, too. Also, a study was executed to obtain the standard times of the selected pieces. Then the simulator was used, which, through the analysis of the process, resulted in the number of units produced, the waiting times and the percentage of use of the operators.
