Abstract: This business engineering thesis aims to determine the technical, commercial and financial viability of handicraft paper production using collection and processing of flower waste collected in the provinces of Pichincha and Cotopaxi, for this the methodology to be applied is theoretically supported sequentially throughout the investigation, which led to the market study using the survey as a tool for obtaining primary information; the technical study that reflects the viability of production and the requirements of raw materials and necessary inputs; the marketing plan that reflects the possible strategies to market the product, establishing a brand that highlights the national origins of the paper; the financial study that uses the information of the different studies previously made for the presentation of financial flows which show the profitability of the project through indicators. Additionally, the qualitative and quantitative risk analysis is presented, analyzing the different situations that could arise in the development of the project. Finally, the conclusions obtained as a result of the studies carried out are detailed, thus responding to the main objective along with the final recommendations of the project, which indicate suggestions to follow once implemented.
