Abstract: In this study it has done a technical- statistical assessment that released a global analysis of the production pipe conditions which has been installed on the field. The lifetime and productivity of each oil well is guaranteed, as a result of it the projects based on the field would be economically worthy in short, medium and long term. The knowledge gained from the analysis allowed the taking of correct decisions to improve the lifetime of the production pipes . Based on the investigations, two main types of pipes were found installed on the field: API and PREMIUM, these two types of pipe lines were installed on the field for a period of time of 3 years. A comparison study has done on the performance of each pipe type based on the “run life” and “lifetime” parameters against the cost and benefit of each pipe. The conclusion of the study established that the PREMIUM pipe type has performed better and the number of failure is lower thant the API type, however in terms of costs the PREMIUM type showed higher initial costs. Finally with these results the complete analysis indicates that the most profitable option for the productivity of the field is the PREMIUM type pipe.
