Desarrollo de un sistema de manejo de reglamentaciones usando tecnologías de Linked Data

Abstract

Universities generally do not have an information system for management of regulations that responds Web way to special requirements such as checking the modifications history of a regulation. The process for updating regulations in the Universities is manual. Additionally, there is no information at the temporal or historical validity of the documents, nor a record of reasons for the changes. For this reason, the present title project aims to develop a system for management of regulations, which will offer a solution for the storage and retrieval of information, which will be linked to the semantic web using document management standards and tools of Linked Data. At the end a website developed with Drupal 7 (CMS) was obtained which allows to store all the information referring to the regulations, and whose information is associated with RDF labels coming from an ontology specifically designed for the structure of regulations, and that in turn can be consulted through SPARQL queries or Web way. The system was proposed as a study of an Ecuadorian university.
