Zusammenfassung: This work determines the technical and economic feasibility of the application of Casing While Drilling technology (CWD) for the drilling of the 12 ¼ "section of Tiputini Field wells, through the use of casing of 9 ⅝ ". The first chapter describes the generalities of Tiputini field, historical review of Block 43, location, stratigraphy, lithology and description of the wells drilled in Pads A, B and C in the first drilling campaign. Similarly, describes the technology of drilling with casing, its evolution through history, historical cases, advantages and disadvantages of its application and the different surface and background equipment that make up this technology. In the second chapter the drilling times, flat times and operative problems presented by the wells of Tiputini field are analyzed. As well as the considerations for the application of CWD technology. The third chapter shows the results of the analysis of torque, drag and accumulated fatigue to determine if the body of the tube and the connection are able to support the loads generated in CWD. Finally the fourth chapter analyzes Time vs Depth curves, and operating costs that were incurred in conventional drilling and that would be present while drilling with CWD technique.
