Abstract: Parahuacu Field has 23 drilled wells in 40 years of production and a current average rate of 3200 STBD. The field has 26MMBls of cumulative oil, which represents a recovery factor of 4,6%. It shows a very low production, so it is necessary to make a development plan to maximize resources and make the field profitable over time. To carry out the plan, it was necessary to interpret the well logs and get the petrophysical properties, along with the verification of PVT and pressure analysis, to know the field and be able to calculate the OOIP and reserves. Based on the obtained results a perforation and workover plan were developed. The perforation plan consists on drilling wells. Based on well logs and correlations, wells were proposed and through type wells, the reserves of the new wells were calculated. On the other side, the workover plan mainly includes change of zone due to low permeability of sandstones. Finally, to determine that plan is profitable, an economic analysis was made to verify the viability of the project using IRR and NPV. The results were positives and the project should be carried out.
