Incremento de la eficiencia operativa del sistema de distribución correspondiente a la subestación Chilibulo de la Empresa Eléctrica Quito

Abstract

In the present work, two alternatives of operation of the distribution system associated with the Chilibulo substation are proposed to satisfy the demand in the saturation state of the south-western sector of the Metropolitan District of Quito, the projection of demand and projected demand is made a diagnosis is made of the current network in medium and low voltage to propose two alternatives of operation in order to have two scenarios both technically and economically viable. Subsequently, the digital modeling of the proposed alternatives is carried out to evaluate the behavior of the same, verifying compliance with the ARCONEL regulations and the EEQ regulations for an efficient operation of the Electricity Distribution System of the study area. The technical study is carried out analyzing three fundamental parameters such as: voltage drop, level of charge in feeders and system losses. Finally, an economic evaluation of both alternatives is carried out, taking into account the investment, operation and maintenance costs, to subsequently make a comparison and determine the best alternative.
