Abstract: The project consists in design and implement a prototype to measure the present magnitudes in monophasic circuits of alternating current. This project helps for the Electrical laboratory at Technical Salesian Don Bosco High school in order to be used as a positive process inside the teaching learning and development of the technical competences of the students. The prototype is able to show and quantify the instantaneous voltage and current signals of a single-phase circuit through the digital analogue converter of a microcontroller. Also, the measurement of these variables the magnitudes of effective voltage and current, the active and reactive power, the apparent and frequency factor are deduced. The interface developed in the Python programming language show the desktop application on the single board computer. The Raspberry Pi 3 present the measured variables and allows to visualize waveforms of voltage and current. Then, the graph of the power triangle and phasor diagrams of the single-phase electrical circuit in which the measurement is made. The user interface is integrated into the prototype.
