La Dolarización Oficial y su Incidencia en la Estabilidad Macroeconómica del Ecuador, Periodo 2000 A 2016

Abstract

The investigation started stating the problem, outlining the objectives and justification, then developing the theoretical part that will be used as the base to analyze the effects of the dollarization in the Ecuadorian economy. Once the theoretical base has been outlined, values of the national accounts are used, this values have been published by a number of national and international organizations. This has been done with the purpose of checking the evolution and compere the behavior that the accounts have had during dollarization and before dollarization. Finally, after collecting evidence and defining in a clear way the differences in the seasonal series, the investigation comes with conclusions of how and how much the dollarization has contributed to the stability of the Ecuadorian economy. Conclusions and recommendation are presented, also perspectives are provided for future years, determining the incidence of dollarization in the macroeconomic stability.
