The IETF has developed mobility management techniques that offer mobility between different heterogeneous networks. The protocol that is focused on this idea, is Mobile IPv6, later called MIPv6. Based on this approach, simulation scenarios will be developed in Omnet ++ with the mobility models "LinearMobility", "Random Waypoint and" Gauss-Markov ", where a mobile node moves from one network to another sending traffic (client - server) UDP in a scenario and in another TCP traffic with the aim of understanding the behavior of IPv6 mobility, its capabilities, limitations and obtaining the level of Quality of Service based on the results obtained from parameters such as: sent, received, lost packages , delay and handover time. Finally, allowing an understanding of the benefits and limitations for mobility in the "IoT".es_ES
