Abstract

Leadership is a concept that focuses on the influence of a person in a group or team of any nature, focusing primarily on the achievement of both group and personal objectives for which the leader becomes an example of work for the other people. The characteristics and requirements of leadership are supported by various theories, from which it is possible to explain the relationship between this concept and other aspects related to human behavior that directly influence the development of the organization, such as the issue of social responsibility, Thus, its comparative analysis allows us to identify the interaction that exists between socially responsible behavior and with each one of the leadership styles in the Administrative-Financial area of the MINEDUC PC. For this study, a type of explanatory and exploratory research has been used, obtaining the required data through the Multifactorial Questionnaire Questionnaire (MLQ), which is one of the most used instruments to measure leadership within organizational psychology and the Questionnaire. on Socially Responsible Behavior validated for the reality of Ecuadorian organizations, both public and private. The analysis of the results was done through the calculation of means, standard deviation, ANOVA and Pearson correlation coefficient, for which the statistical package SPSS V23 was used, managing to identify the significance between leadership styles and behavior socially. responsible in the administrative and financial area of the matrix of the MINEDUC Central Plant.
