Propuesta de gestión por procesos para la coordinación zonal 9 – salud, Quito

Abstract

his Master's thesis has the finality to propose a new Process Management Model for Zonal Coordination 9 – Health, Quito in its nine Zonal Directions: Health Governance, Provision and Quality of Health Services, Promotion of Health and Equality, Health Surveillance, Legal Advice, Information and Communication Technologies, Planning, Financial Administration, Communication, Image and Press. This investigative work is developed in three moments, the first is a theoretical reference where it is described how to direct an organization through Process Management; a second moment deals with the present situation of the Organization and its current pyramidal Management, and in a third moment, a Process Management model is proposed, through the design of the process map of the Institution identifying strategic, operational and support processes, deploying for each of these the objective to be achieved, the profile of the process leader, scope, activities and indicators, as well as characterizing and diagramming each of the processes in a way that allows visualizing the route to follow in each of these, from its beginning to the final activity. The result of this study will optimize resources, better organize the processes to be executed, achieve the objectives of the Institution and increase the satisfaction of the external client. At the end of this thesis, it is recommended actions that it lets to strengthen the work by processes of the Zonal Coordination 9 - Health.
