Resumen: This work presents the simulation of OPS (Orthogonal Pilot Sequence) for the reduction of the PAPR (Peak-to-Average Power Ratio) in OFDM (Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) systems. An OFDM transmitter, receiver and wireless channel with Nakagami distribution are also implemented in the simulation. It presents the study of the OFDM transmitter and receiver, PAPR evaluation metrics are described, making a more exhaustive analysis of the OPS technique. It also describes the design in Matlab of the OFDM transmitter and receiver, the Nakagami distribution applied to the channel and the OPS technique for the reduction of PAPR. In addition, presents the tests and results obtained of the reduction of PAPR in terms of the BER for the OPS and CE-POCS techniques. Finally, the conclusions and recommendations are presented.
