Análisis del rendimiento de la técnica de reducción de la PAPR OPS-SAP para comunicaciones LTE en el enlace descendente

Abstract

In the present final career project, the theoretical framework of LTE, the problem of high PAPR and the PAPR reduction techniques OPS, SAP and OPS-SAP are revised. Chapter 2 details the design and implementation in MATLAB of an LTE transmitter for a downlink transmission applying OPS, SAP and finally OPS-SAP. Chapter 3 shows the results of the simulations (Monte Carlo method) that allow to measure the performance of OPS-SAP in terms of CCDF (Complementary Cumulative Distribution Function) of the PAPR, CCDF of the Cubic Metric (MC, Cubic Metric) and PSD (Power Spectral Density). The results obtained from the simulations are presented in graphic curves and tables, the different metrics are compared for transmissions with and without the application of the OPS, SAP and OPS-SAP techniques. These results help to determine the gain obtained by implementing OPS-SAP and verify its effectiveness in reducing the PAPR and thus consider its future application in LTE systems.
