Desarrollo de un prototipo de sistema de control en la nube para gestionar el préstamo de bicicletas empleando Android

Abstract

This paper details the development of a prototype of a cloud system that manages the free rental of bicycles through a mobile application. The prototype is designed to offer an automated alternative for local businesses that promote sustainable mobility. The prototype consists of a main module, a control module and a user interface for the client and another for the administrator. First, the main module is formed of a WCF REST service that handles the business logic and the Firebase database that stores the attributes and transactions immersed in the system. Second, the control module contains the circuitry necessary to communicate two RFID readers, an electromagnetic lock and a Raspberry Pi that controls the hardware. Third, the mobile application allows the client to make reservations, withdrawals and returns of bicycles while the administrator allows him to manage the duration of the loans and handling of users, bicycles, stations, locks and reservations.
