Abstract

The conceptualization of organizations as complex systems, where a large number of variables intervene to respond to a diversity of needs is the fundamental pillar of the present study, emphasizing leadership and power. Organizations, when considered as social constructs, present a variety of agents with a plurality of interests that constitute centers of divergence; and, in many cases in spaces of power struggle and conflicts. In this way, it is necessary to study in the organizations the phenomena of leadership, power and influence, each of them as independent concepts, but in turn interdependent, in order to understand the motivations and effects of the relationships that arise between them. and the environment.
