Desarrollo de una plataforma crowdfunding para contribuciones de bienes y servicios

Abstract

This integrating project presents a crowdfunding web platform proposal for charity projects of social help. Nowadays in Ecuador, there are crowdfunding web platforms that support a variety of entrepreneurships (innovators, musical groups, actors, content creators, non-profit organizations, foundations, among others) to obtain economic help through the exposure of their projects across the Internet. In this way, they reach possible donators that feel the need to help them. These web platforms have the following characteristics: the only way to donate is through money, the advertising to find new donators is minimal and they receive a percentage of the donations. However, these characteristics aren’t suitable for solidarity projects of social help because they need not only money contributions but also different goods and services. Also, they need to find and reach the most possible donators available to fulfill their projects. This integrating project objective is to propose a crowdfunding web platform that is focused on solidarity projects that need goods and services contributions and volunteer activities. This document is divided in 4 chapters. The first chapter contemplates the introduction and defines the problem to resolve, its objective and scope. The second chapter describes the theorical framework, which contains the concepts that will be used in the integrating project. The third chapter details the RAD methodology phases that were used to develop the crowdfunding web platform for this project. The fourth chapter describes the results that were obtained during the development of the platform and at the end of the process. Finally, the project conclusions are presented and detailed.
