Análisis técnico del proyecto piloto de inyección de agua implementado en el campo Shushufindi-Aguarico, reservorio U inferior

Abstract

The growing increase in demand for oil and the lack of new fields make it necessary to implement secondary recovery projects in the country's mature fields; In 2014 a pilot water injection project was implemented in the Shushufindi - Aguarico field and due to the aforementioned it is important to evaluate these projects to determine their efficiency and improve their application in other mature fields of the country. In the present work an evaluation of the efficiency of the pilot project of water injection will be carried out, with a technical and economic analysis of the results that it has offered in the recovery of oil and the pressure of the deposit. For the execution and determination of efficiency, different methods will be applied, focused on producing wells and injection wells. It will start with the compilation of theoretical information on the field, general characteristics, theory on technical and economic evaluation methods of injection wells and producers in water injection projects, production data and injection of the field. The methodology to be followed in carrying out this work and selecting the wells to be evaluated is qualitative and quantitative, and the wells within the injection pattern area are evaluated. The results obtained from the analyzes such as hall curves, production history, Chan curves, declination curves, flowing bottom pressure show that in the wells studied the injection water had a significant increase in the improvement of the recovery of reserves, it was also evident that in these wells the flowing bottom pressure increased considerably, and the project was indeed successful; After analyzing the economic indicators, it is obtained that the injection pilot project implemented was highly profitable for the operating company.
