Abstract: This work focuses on the design of telecommunication systems such as: telemetry, radio control and analog video, applied to a UAV for the monitoring and protection of water resources, specifically the Pugllohuma and Jatunhuaycu wetlands near to Antisana volcano. Section I shows the theoretical framework necessary for the development of this work, which includes information about the Antisana volcano and the importance of conserving its water resources. Section II contains the design of the telecommunications system, information on the environmental characteristics, geographic location, dimensions of the Antisana volcano and its wetlands, and the choice of the type of drone that will carry out the monitoring missions. In addition, there are the equations that mathematically model the calculation of the link budget. Section III presents the selection of equipment for telemetry in addition to calculating the link budget for each of the subsystems. Section IV presents the results of the simulations of each subsystem based on the selected equipment. Section V shows the tests and their results with their respective analysis. Finally, in the section VI the conclusions are disclosed, considering the fulfillment of the design conditions.
