Diagnóstico del uso de métricas de calidad de la norma ISO/IEC 25000 en mipymes de desarrollo de software de países miembros del HASTQB

Abstract

The current study aims to answer the question of what is the use that is currently being done of ISO/IEC 25000 for the parameters of functionality, suitability, usability, security and maintainability within the VSEs of software development in member countries of the HASTQB. It is under the hypothesis that these VSEs use less than 25% of quality metrics for functional suitability, maintainability, security and usability of ISO/IEC 25000. The related studies at the moment have several works corresponding to the evaluation and creation of models based on the ISO/IEC 25000 as well as in ISO 29110, however, there are gaps in work on real applications of these standards on MSMES, and even more within the Hispanic American region. This project uses a methodology primarily based on the survey as a research technique. The activities that compose this technique range from the definition of objectives through statistical treatment data and passing through the design and implementation of the survey. The study received a total of 181 replies recollected from companies of different member countries of the HASTQB. It was found greater popularity for the characteristic of Functional Suitability with a 84% of reception followed by usability with a 61.47%, Security with a 58% and finally maintainability with a 31.13%. In the end, it was confirmed the hypothesis due to the percentage of 13.24% obtained from respondents use the ISO/IEC 25000 in their software development projects.
