The study of astroparticles has caught the interest of the scientific community. High altitude places such as the Andean region of Latin America, the geographical advantages promotes the study of them. The present study was carried out in two parts. First: We perform simulations for different primary nuclei with an energy range between 12.47 GeV and 10000 TeV, in order to obtain the fluence of secondary particles. These simulations were performed considering a incident particle flux of 6 hours using the CORSIKA package. These results gave us the number of secondary particles arriving at the detector level. Second: We analyze the data collected by the detector located at the Escuela Politécnica Nacional. We classified the data, and performed statistical analysis of the rate of detected particles. We looked for the correlation between the environmental values with the rate of detected particles. This allowed us to obtain the correction coefficients for the environmental fluctuations. Using the fast Fourier transform, we found the frequencies of the periodicity of environmental values and secondary particle rate. These frequencies indicated that there is a periodicity of the environmental variables locally, the relationships between the environmental variables and the particle rate were obtained the environmental coefficients.es_ES
