Zusammenfassung: This docuement shows dimensioning of the parts of a 2Hp, 4-pole general purpose three phase induction motor it through parametric equations that are expressed according to magnetic, electrical, geometric in addition to the existing machine design information displayed in the form of graphs and tables. For design, the input parameters or data previously defined by designer are considered. It’s determined dimensions of the magnetic circuito of the stator with its electrical parameters with this information and other data that are assumed (current densities and magnetic flux densities), similarly, it’s determined dimensions of the rotor with its corresponding electrical parameters. In the final part of electrical design, the complementary dimensions and losses are determined. The shaft and bearings dimensions are determined by evaluating the mass of the rotor (core, bars and short circuit rings) and the forces applied to them. The rest of the motor is dimensioning with measurements previously obtained from the magnetic circuit, shaft and bearings. In the next chapter, calculations carried out thoungh simulations that are verified by means of finite elements for the electromagnetic parts and the shaft of the machine. These simulations include the magnetic flux density diagrams of the stator and rotor, the current density in the windings and rotor bars, torque veruss slip diagram, rotor inertia, safety factors and axle oscillation modes. Finally, the dynamic simulations of the motor idle start are performed with the parameters obtaines.
