Abstract: The present proyect of degree “IMPLEMENTATION OF A MONITORING AND ACCESS CONTROL SYSTEM FOR CLASSROOMS 27, 28 AND 29 OF THE ESFOT” integrates an automation and security system for access to ESFOT classrooms, where the biometric equipment implemented in the classrooms will allow teachers to access them by recognizing the fingerprint, in addition to registering online the report of each teacher. The proyect consists of four sections. The section one presents a brief introduction, the identification of the problema as starting point of the necessity to implement an automated system, similarly the justification indicates the reasons for who and why benefit from the project, the specific objectives set to accomplish with the general objective, in addition to the definition of some concepts of interest. Section two mentions the type of methodology used and the activities carried out that fullfilled each of the specific objectives from a study accomplished in classrooms 27, 28 and 29 of the ESFOT. The section three refers the results and discussions about the study of requirements previous to the execution of the project and the installation of the structured cabling together network devices. Also, it describes the implementation of the biometric-mechanical system for opening the door, in addition to the tests performed of the crimped, of the network communication and the biometric-electric lock system to verify correct operation. The section four exposes the conclusions and recommendations of execution and operation of the implemented project.
