Abstract

The objective of this study is to carry out an analytical study of the reservoir of the U Inferior sandstone of the Auca Sur field with the implementation of a secondary recovery project. Secondary recovery aims to inject water to improve the rate of oil displacement or recovery factor. The key factors for continuing secondary recovery are; the high availability of water compatible with the reservoir, the ability to convert producer wells to injectors and the impossibility of stopping the

depletion of pressure by primary recovery. The methodology used consists of the use of the Buckley - Leverett, Stiles and Dysktra - Parson models, which present the pertinent restrictions for each method used. With the previous stories it was possible to make a comparison of the results obtained by the models used and the results of the well.
