Abstract: This project is a module that allows measuring solar radiation in open spaces using the ML8511 sensor. With the construction of the solar radiation meter module, all students, teachers, workers and the general public that transit the ESFOT neighborhood, will be able to report the incident ultraviolet radiation index, the recommended actions against each level of ultraviolet radiation. It is expected that those people to whom the information reaches take the appropriate precautions based on the present risk and can protect their health. In addition, a mobile application was developed in order to report the ultraviolet radiation index present in the vicinity of the ESFOT, so that those who have this application can take the appropriate precautions, either in their clothing or by using of sunscreens or other accessories. This will help mitigate the risk from ultraviolet radiation before heading to college or if you cannot get close to the solar radiation meter module. Finally, an operation manual was developed so that, in the event of failure of the ultraviolet radiation measuring module, it can be repaired.
