Análisis de la interconexión de dos centrales telefónicas IP basadas en Asterisk usando como medio de comunicación el Internet

Abstract

This project presents the interconnection of two Asterisk-based IP Private Branch Exchange and the interconnection analysis, implemented in two raspberry Pi 3 b+ minicomputers, where two test scenarios are proposed to evaluate the performance of the entire communication system.

The first chapter contains introductory information about networks, Asterisk as a private branch exchange, and gives an overview of the IP Telephony protocols. Chapter 2 contains three subsections, the first one describes a fictitious company and, two test scenarios are proposed. The second one is the implementation of the system communications, IP devices configurations, and interconnection between private branch exchanges for both test scenarios. Chapter 2 ends with the tests in the Telephone system. Chapter 3 contains the results and graphs from the data collected in the previous chapter for each test scenario. Chapter 4 presents the conclusions obtained at the end of this project and recommendations for future IP telephony work and certain aspects which must be aware when working with Asterisk. Packets going through the interconnection, client and server certificates are presented in the annexes.
