Abstract: The present project, “SIMULATION OF AN AUTOMATIC VOLTAGE REGULATION MODEL BY FIELD CURRENT FOR A SYNCHRONIC GENERATOR”, representants a formative contribution towards students of Engineering and Technology careers. The project benefits the Laboratory of Energy Conversion or Electrical Machines of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, which will allow the respected theorical application for the development of the professional profile of the students. For the development the project, a PWM circuit with a linear synchronized to the network was designed and simulated to the control a fully controlled rectifier bridge (AC/DC converter). This AC/DC converter will vary its rectified senoidal signal due to the variation of the PWM signal produced by the controller. These circuits must be connected to the field winding of the machine, which when controlled allows the generator output voltage to be varied. The control that allows the generator output voltage to be varied was simulated with a PID (Proportional Integral Derivative) algorithm, which is represented on an Arduino electronic board with the respective input and output elements such as voltage and current sensors, a keyboard matrix that allows entering the SetPoint and a display that shows the controlled variables. This document also details the respective electrical and electronic tests of the designed circuits, sensor operation tests, as well as the control algorithm. Finally, the conclusions and recommendations of the entire development of the project were drawn.
Description: El presente Proyecto, “SIMULACION DE UN MODULO REGULADOR AUTOMATICO DE VOLTAJE POR CORRIENTE DE CAMPO PARA UN GENERADOR SINCRONICO”, representa una aportación formativa hacia los estudiantes de las carreras de Ingeniería y Tecnología.
