The analysis of twenty wells in the Cuenca Oriente allowed the selection of two wells for the execution of workovers that can be matrix stimulation and hydraulic fracturing. Analysis of production history, reservoir properties, open hole logs and pressure tests were performed. Once the analysis was developed, the wells that had the conditions were selected to be stimulated. For the wells that require matrix stimulation, the fluids to be used and the respective volumes were determined using an algorithm developed in the “Matlab” software; and, for the hydraulic fracturing, the parameters to execute the fracture were determined by simulation in the software "tNavigator". The results obtained from the matrix stimulation and hydraulic fracturing indicate that the selected wells have a high potential to reduce damage with the matrix stimulation implement through the use of acids; and, to increase production through the application of hydraulic fracturing.es_ES
