Resumen: Initially, the design of the cement slurry was made, it was established to use Bentonite, Fumed Silica, allophane, Cement and Water in different percentages, a viscous mixture was obtained which could not be pumpable so it was decided to use a Desco dispersant, the which helped the mixture flow easily. At the time of mixing it was important to determine the order of addition of the additives, this was concluded with the different tests previously carried out, the additives of the mixture were added in the following order: Water, Fumed Silica Solution, Bentonite, allophane and finally Desco. Each additive provided a property such as: Bentonite consistency of the mixture; Fumed Silica was used in low percentages and provided greater benefit to the setting time, this additive has a light texture so it was decided to add it in solution, it was tested with some percentages until determining the appropriate percentage; Allophane was used to increase the mechanical resistance of cement and Desco is a dispersant. All the formulations made were based on the mass of the cement. When preparing the cement slurries, the laboratory tests continually began with the Density test, which obtained an average of 13.5 lb / gal in the mixtures. Therefore, it was established to only perform Lead grouts since the density obtained was close to the values used in this type of grout and to rule out greater variation in the results when adding other additives. The rheology test was carried out, from which it was possible to discard some mixtures that did not provide adequate fluidity. After the API filtering test, in this test satisfactory data was not obtained, since a filtering controller was not used, but it was observed that by increasing the percentage of Allophane an improvement in filtering time was obtained. Finally, the compressive strength tests were performed, it should be noted that this test was the determining factor in the present study, in which the number of initial tests was reduced. With the results of this test, which were not the desired ones, exhaustive tests were carried out on the allophane additive to understand the results obtained. Some tests were carried out, including the important ones such as: Fluorescence and X-ray Diffraction, to know the mineralogy and chemistry of allophane and to conclude that Allophane did not have a Pozzolanic behavior rather it behaved like a clay, its mineralogy had high percentages of Vermiculite , Kaolinite among others. Therefore, it was ruled out that Allophane could substitute traditional additives that help compressive strength. Taking into account that Allophane easily captures moisture and it is difficult to have a particle as fine as cement, this is one of the most important reasons why the desired results were not obtained. Although the Pozzolanic Activity Index to Allophane was also carried out and it was found that the finer the particle, a greater value in compressive strength is obtained. But there is difficulty in reaching a fine particle. The cement grout with allophane passed through all the established tests, since it was necessary to know how it would affect all the parameters that are necessary for an efficient cement grout, but although the test that allowed to rule out that allophane would replace others is true additives is the compressive strength test.
