Implementación de un prototipo virtualizado de integración de servicios de intranet sobre plataforma Linux y Windows

Abstract

The objective of this project is to virtualize servers using free software and proprietary software, in addition to checking their interoperability and compatibility so that it can simultaneously provide services such as DHCP, DNS, Web, Mail, FTP and directory. Making use of both Windows and Linux clients, which will have access to the intranet and will obtain the aforementioned services, in addition to internet access; Therefore, the project seeks to reduce costs, physical space and optimize services as advantages that the raising of servers with their correct virtualization entails.

The servers achieve their virtualization thanks to programs designed for it, prior to the selection of the best one, an analysis of the costs and benefits that they can provide will be carried out, and in the same way an analysis for the operating systems to be used as main servers, once determined the best software to virtualize servers and the best operating systems to be used in raising the services. Once the installation of the operating systems and the lifting of the services in the different virtual servers have been completed, the necessary interoperability tests are carried out using both Linux and Windows clients and verify the compatibility between them.
